Service for August 6th, 2023 - Ninth Sunday after Trinity

Friends of Christ the King,
Tomorrow is the Lord's Day and I hope you can gather with a congregation of Christ's Church for praise, prayer and fellowship.   
Christ the King Anglican Fellowship will be meeting for Holy Communion Service at 5pm in our Sanctuary space, followed by a time for refreshments, conversation and catechism in the parlor. 
The sermon prepared for tomorrow will focus on God's call from scripture to live with wisdom as God's covenant people, recognizing our covenant privileges, being aware of God's covenant judgments, and abiding in God's covenant Grace.  And during our catechism time we will review questions 1-7 of the "To Be A Christian" catechism: 
1) What is the human condition?
2) What is the gospel?
3) How does sin affect you?
4) What is the way of death?
5) Can you save yourself from the way of sin and death?
6) How does God save you?
7) Why does God save you?
